SYMPTOM: Turning over the support of DR Multiuser DOS
5.0 & 5.1 as of May 1, 1993.
ISSUE/PROBLEM: Novell has officially discontinued all sales and
support for Multiuser DOS 5.0 & 5.1 as of 5/1/93. As a result
Novell has contracted with three companies for distribution and
development of DR Multiuser DOS 5.0 & 5.1. Those companies and
respective areas that they support are as follows:
Concurrent Controls, Inc.(CCI) (USA, Canada, & Latin America)
Datapac Australasia (Australia & Asia-Pacific)
Intelligent Micro Software Limited (IMS) (Europe, Africa, &
Middle East)
SOLUTION: Customers can contact one of the three following
companies. Their support policies and pricing are listed below.

CCI provides 6 months free support with every copy purchased from
CCI. In addition, support for existing customers and dealers of DR
Multiuser DOS 5.0 or 5.1 not purchased from CCI is provided on a
per call basis for $25.00 for each fifteen minutes. Annual support
contracts are also available with substantially reduced charges per
call. Free support is available for all sites of dealers who
regularly purchase from CCI. Free support is also provided through
the CCI 24 hour bulletin board.

Direct customers of IMS will continue to receive free support by
telephone, fax and EMail. Users who have purchased Multiuser DOS
5.0 or 5.1 from any source will receive free support from IMS by
fax only. Users requiring a substantial amount of support will be
invited to take out a support contract.
There is a forum under NETWIRE called NOVVEN, which is for third
party developers. All Multiuser DOS information will be moved to
this new location no later then 5/14/93.
